FOUNRDRY MECHANIC (M/F/D)

As a foundry mechan­ic (M/F/D) you are respon­si­ble for the com­plete range of tasks includ­ing met­al cast­ing. Even as a trainee, you can help out, help out your­self and do man­u­al work — but you should enjoy phys­i­cal activ­i­ty, even if it can be exhausting.

YOUR LEARNING CONTENT AND TASKS

  • Prepa­ra­tion of met­al casting
  • Pro­duc­tion of cast­ing molds
  • Mon­i­tor­ing of the pro­duc­tion process
  • Demold­ing and aftertreat­ment of castings
  • Appli­ca­tion of con­trol and reg­u­la­tion tech­nol­o­gy on the basis of design drawings
  • optical/dimensional ini­tial inspec­tion after the cast­ing process
